Sandra Eldridge

Sandra Eldridge first contacted Glaucoma UK in 2015, requesting literature to help apply eye drops, which she always diligently applied. By choosing to leave a gift in her will, Sandra helped others living with glaucoma protect their sight by funding a new booklet on eye drops. She is lovingly remembered by her Daughter, Helen. Mr F Purslow

Mr Purslow was a dedicated member of Glaucoma UK for over 29 years. After being diagnosed with glaucoma in1996, he would often read in Insight magazine about developments in glaucoma treatments and by choosing to leave a gift in his will, Mr Purslow helped ensure that others living with glaucoma can continue to protect their sight. He is lovingly remembered by his Nieces, Frances, Clare & Caroline. Thank you Mr Purslow, on behalf of our Glaucoma UK community.

Richard Morris

In loving memory of Richard who had struggled with serious eyesight conditions for most of his life. His empathy for others who were suffering with their own critical eyesight issues, including glaucoma, and the kindness shown by them that remember him mean we can detect glaucoma earlier, thus preventing sight loss, and ensuring they can continue doing the things they love like one of Richard's favourite pastimes - fishing.

Jan Pilcher

Today we're fondly remembering Jan Pilcher, who will be dearly missed by fellow members of the Eastbourne and District Indoor Bowls Club. Gifts made in memory of Jan mean we can detect glaucoma earlier, buying us precious time to preserve sight and keep people living with glaucoma doing activities they love.

Ann Audrey Oakley

As a member of Glaucoma UK, Ann Oakley’s subscription meant we could be there for those facing a glaucoma diagnosis from the very beginning. Her compassion for others led her to including a gift for people living with glaucoma in her will, which meant we could pay her kindness forward further and help more people navigate their glaucoma diagnosis and learn to live well with their glaucoma, protecting their sight for years to come. Cherridah Coppard

Cherridah Coppard spent more than 30 years supporting Glaucoma UK, offering reassurance, wisdom and kindness as a Buddy. By voting at our annual general meetings, she played a part shaping the future direction of our Charity. Her legacy of helping others live well with their glaucoma continues through her choice to remember Glaucoma UK in her will. Angela Stevenson

Angela was a dedicated member of Glaucoma UK for 24 years. After her diagnosis with primary open-angle glaucoma in her mid-forties, she found in our community a source of information, support, and hope. By choosing to leave a gift in her will, Angela helped ensure that others living with glaucoma can continue to protect their sight. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Thomas, and her son, Joel. Thank you Angela, on behalf of the Glaucoma UK community.

Mavis Frances Dane

Though they're no longer with us, their legacy lives on every time someone calls our Helpline not knowing how to cope with a glaucoma diagnosis and ends the call feeling reassured, their questions answered, knowing there's a community of people just like them, living well with their glaucoma.
